Who we are

Lawyers Without Borders (LWB) is an academic society of the Handong School of Law department, established to cater to research-driven students who seek to pursue a future career in international law. Anchored to our identity as an international law academic society, LWB strongly emphasizes the importance of staying relevant on current international legal issues. Since the Fall semester of 2023, LWB proudly implemented its newly designed “One-year” Research Curriculum. This new curriculum is designed to yield high-standard and rigorous quality research. The curriculum is divided into four phases, with the first phase starting every Fall semester each year.

Our members are the powerhouse of LWB. We greatly value passionate researchers who are eager to learn and undertake new challenges within the field of international law. With our 2025 inclusive and diversity goals, LWB is opening its doors to all students of the School of Law every semester to have more passionate undergraduate researchers on board with the team. “Research is formalized curiosity.
